My in laws were in town so we came to this local eatery which is always busy when I walk by. It has changed since my original visit years ago to order at the counter and pick a booth and relax when they make your food fresh to order. My son and husband both ordered the crab cakes which are made with real crab and come with coleslaw and corn bread. I ordered the Wally's seafood platter with a side of spinach and mushrooms. It was tasty and could feed a small army! I still had a lot of leftovers even with sharing with my son and husband. My in laws shared a large West Coast salad which was plenty of food. We also got a side of okra which my son and husband shared and enjoyed. The only recommendation I would make is when annnouncing the orders that are ready is to find a gentler way of announcing it. It was kind of like a mom yelling to her kids down stairs which is to say, a little jarring. Either that or sit farther away from the counter next time! Price is affordable and food is legit with leftovers to spare! Come support this local eatery!
Rush hour is hectic but worth the wait so call ahead of time. Food was very tasty 10/10
Great Service, Amazing food options. Always a go-to when we can't decide on food! The ambiance is chill, and places high in Tucker-Area food
What an AMAZING place to eat!!! My Sweetie and I ate a late lunch here yesterday, and Wow was this a great find!! We ordered the Charleston Fishwich (flounder) and the Louisiana Poboy(shrimp) with sides of fried onion strings, fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Our meals also came with complimentary cole slaw and corn muffins. Plenty of cocktail and tarter sauce. Lots and lots of food, huge portions! Everything was cooked fresh, served hot and amazingly perfect taste!! We were stuffed, took some food home, and definitely plan to go back again and again! GREAT, PLEASANT service. You have to try this place...AMAZING!!!!
Went back last night for dinner to go. Picked up some fried shrimp (with cocktail sauce this time instead of remoulade) and hush puppies. Yum! The GM is super sweet and the other staff is also incredibly friendly. I wish this was in my neighborhood but since I live in Chicago, it's a bit of a drive. Next time I'm back in the area, I'll be back again.
I've driven by this place thousands of times but never stepped inside. Today was the day. Their food is amazing!! Portion sizes are great! Friendly staff!! It's definitely a must try if you're in the Tucker area. I wish I took a picture before i gobbled all my food up!!
The parking lot is small and finding a space can still be difficult. Be sure to call ahead and place your order. It will usually take about 15 minutes for your order to be ready. It looks amazing on both the inside and outside. They cook the food when you order so call in may be best. This time I ordered the 2pc fried catfish, coleslaw, and fried green tomatoes. Be sure to ask for hot sauce and tartar sauce. Both the catfish and green tomatoes are fried to perfection. I have had everything on the menu except salads and desserts. Everything tastes amazing.
Hey Yall. I drove past this place soooo many times. Bright yellow rooftop! My son is home for the summer and he ordered a shrimp Poe boy that was loaded. I could not believe when he said that he got it from fork in the road. Last week he ordered the salmon salad and I devoured his left overs. So today I came for myself. I had to check this place out. I ordered a shrimp basket. It came with one side of my choice and a cornbread. It's so good y'all. I had to share.
